Aspire Pods – Replacement Cartridges
Replacement and refillable Aspire pods designed for Flexus, Gotek, Cyber and Minican devices. Optimised for nicotine salts and 50/50 e-liquids, with stable airflow and consistent coil performance.
Aspire Pod Systems – Resistance, Liquid Matching and Performance Matrix
| Series | Resistance Range | Liquid Compatibility | VG/PG Range | Inhale Profile | System Behaviour | Use Case |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flexus (AF Platform) | 0.6Ω / 1.0Ω | Nic salts / 50/50 | 50/50 | MTL / RDTL | Replaceable mesh coils, adjustable airflow | Flexible performance tuning |
| Gotek | 0.8Ω – 1.0Ω | Nic salts / 50/50 | 50/50 | MTL | Integrated coil pod, stable low power output | Simple daily use |
| Cyber Series | 0.8Ω – 1.0Ω | Nic salts / 50/50 | 50/50 | MTL / Loose MTL | Compact systems, slightly higher airflow | Modern compact devices |
| Minican | 0.8Ω – 1.2Ω | Nic salts | 50/50 | Tight MTL | Low power, high efficiency draw | Beginner-focused systems |
Each Aspire platform is designed around specific airflow and coil structures. Correct matching with liquid viscosity ensures stable wicking and predictable performance.
Aspire Pod Compatibility – System-Level Differences
Aspire pod systems are not cross-compatible between series. Each platform is engineered around a specific airflow path, coil structure and power range.
Flexus (AF) uses replaceable mesh coils, allowing adjustment of resistance and airflow behaviour. Gotek, Cyber and Minican use integrated coil pods, where resistance and wicking structure are fixed within the cartridge.
Matching the correct pod to the device is essential. Even visually similar cartridges may differ in airflow calibration and internal geometry.
Liquid Compatibility and Real-World Performance
Aspire pod systems are optimised for 50/50 VG/PG liquids and nicotine salts. This ratio provides the correct balance between viscosity and capillary action in compact pod designs.
Higher VG liquids (70VG/30PG) are generally too thick for most Aspire pods and can slow wicking, leading to inconsistent vapour production and increased coil stress.
In Irish climate conditions, lower temperatures increase liquid viscosity. Allowing extra saturation time before first use improves wick priming and reduces the risk of premature coil degradation.
FAQ – Aspire Pods
Are Aspire pods refillable? Most Aspire pods are refillable and designed for multiple refill cycles until coil performance degrades.
Which Aspire pods are best for nicotine salts?Pods in the 0.8Ω–1.2Ω range are best suited for nicotine salts, providing efficient absorption and stable performance.
Can I use high VG liquid in Aspire pods?High VG liquids are not recommended for most Aspire pod systems due to slower wicking and increased risk of dry hits.
How long do Aspire pods last?Pod lifespan typically ranges from several days up to two weeks depending on liquid type, usage and power level.
